Ellen Bett-Witt
Ellen grew up in Farmington Hills, MI. She moved to Marquette nearly forty years ago, and has been in love ever since!
Ellen is a nature and travel photographer inspired by discovery, and the cultures and scenery she encounters. Ellen tries to accurately capture the world around her with minimal digital processing.


C. Beulah Budnick
I am Beulah, The One Woman show behind C Beulah B Jewelry. By offering the finest of work honoring nature, using recycled materials and respecting our planet I am pushing myself to fulfill my words with action as I continually work towards sustainable business practices.
I live deep in the forests of Upper Michigan and travel to hidden corners of the world where I find continual inspiration for my work.


Chloe Fortune
Chloe is primarily a landscape artist who loves to share the beauty of the Upper Peninsula with others through her paintings. Her unique paintings are inspired by her experiences with nature when she moved to the UP years ago. She loves combining nature with color theory to evoke the sentimental feelings that we carry from place to place. Chloe enjoys connecting with others through her love of both art and nature. She has a background in a variety of art mediums and loves learning new things.


Joy Bender-Hadley
Joy is a multi-disciplinary artist who is always pushing herself through various mediums. She sees herself as a painter who will also choose to use clay, recycled materials, collage, and printmaking as a tool to convey her imagery. Joy’s process is all about exploration. While challenging herself with various mediums, she works to unite color with nature, whimsical stories, and creative meditation.


ALLISON MARIE HADJIS
Allison Marie Hadjis is the artist behind Studio Marie. She is a Yooper, a wife, and a mom to a beautiful little boy.
She graduated from NMU with a degree in Human Centered Design and has been painting over twenty two years. She finds inspiration in the UPs beauty with the animals and landscapes. Allison has been traveled to Scandinavia where she draws inspiration from the folk art of that area. Her favorite things (besides art) are cake, aquariums, and going for swims.


Jenny Frein Hamel
Jenny is primarily a ceramics artist, but she works with fiber and some other mediums as well. She finds inspiration for her work while spending time in nature.
Jenny’s pottery is functional and meant to be used as part of our daily rituals, like making a cup of coffee. Her unique handmade pieces bring joy to the everyday.


Kaitlynn Park
Kaitlynn Park is the artist behind Kips Design. She is a multidisciplinary artist who loves to investigate and try all different media in her art practice. The medium she finds most comfort in has always been painting. Her art is an exploration of her internal and outer world. She is drawn to capturing landscapes with bold colors and playing with different perspectives. Her more personal projects are often rooted in her whimsical sense of humor. Whether it is a narrative bringing joy in a heavy place or just a silly scene that puts a smile on viewer’s faces.


Virginia Killough
Ginnie Killough, spinner and handweaver A lifelong fiber enthusiast, Ginnie loves exploring traditional weave structures and designing original weaving plans which incorporate vivid color and handspun yarns as much as possible. She enjoys making functional items which bring art and craft into our daily lives.


Megan Leys
Megan Leys is an artist and educator in Marquette. She is inspired by the beauty of the Upper Peninsula, boreal forests, and the transience of the seasons. Her go-to medium is watercolor paint, which has just enough unpredictability to keep every sitting interesting.
Megan views art as an opportunity to observe and appreciate the natural world and she hopes that you will, too.


Mavis
I’m a self-taught metalsmith and jewelry designer. I work studio in Marquette, and this year, on remote in Houghton. I’m an avid photographer, writer, and home chef. I’m a mama and a drawing enthusiast. I like glitter and hammers and rust and stars. I’ve been making jewelry for 29 years, and teaching workshops and classes for 25. I like to create fun things to wear and to repurpose forgotten things into fabulous new ones.

K Harris Pfaffle
Kristianna is a multi-media artist whose work focuses on fine details of line-work, whether those lines are created with henna, ink, paint, by pyrography, or via Dremel bit. It’s not unusual to find her lost in a project on fabric, paper, canvas, leather, bone, wood, or stone surfaces until she feels ready to step back and let the piece speak for itself. Inspiration is derived from traditional mehndi art styles blended with nature motifs and a lifelong love of symbolism.


Candace Prill
I am a native Yooper and life-long agate hunter. My passion for nature and science are shown through my art of agate suncatchers.
I enjoy spending time in The Gallery surrounded by local art, if I’m not there I am likely hiking around with my family or chasing our chickens around.


Christine Saari
Christine is a multidisciplinary artist who expresses her angle on life through mixed media, photography and written word. Christine is known for her cigar box shrines, insightful photography, and heart touching poetry.


Jody Trost
Jody works in fiber to create her sculptures. She enjoys the versatality of this medium. Her work is done in 100% Merino and corriedale wool. Jody finds inspriration for her work in nature. The reason she loves living in the U.P is because of all the beautiful nature.

Don Wilson
Don creates jewelry using local materials. His unique designs often include copper, agates, Petosky stones, and local woods. Don taught Art, Woodworking and Jewelry Design at a high school near Seattle for many years. He now uses those skills to design his own line of jewelry. His collections reflect the wide range of influences on his life.
