I’m an illustrator and mixed media artist, my work is usually a mixture between the magnificent and the mundane. I try to emulate the whimsical imagery in children’s books with subject matter often related to mythology and storytelling. Magic and Monsters are my bag, I love painting mythical creatures and intertwining them with contemporary settings.  

I categorize myself as a mixed media artist because I have trouble sticking to solitary media. I’ll be painting something in acrylic and halfway through I give it an ink wash and start adding elements of collage. I often have no idea what supplies I’m going to use when I set out to start a project, which always makes them feel unexpected when I finish, even to me.
