Sarosik Gallery: New Gallery Marquette Members

An exhibit of work by the newest members of The Gallery Marquette will be on display until August 10th.

New Members Larissa Schmock, Megan Leys, C. Beulah Budnick, and Chloe Fortune will be featured.

Larissa Schmock

Larissa is primarily an oil and acrylic painter who often dabbles in pen and ink drawing. Her interest in the natural world is demonstrated in her paintings and drawings, most often of a variety of flora, fauna, and landscapes.

She has been drawing and painting since she was young and has carried her artistic practice throughout her life, which stems from an intense urge to create and capture moments of beauty or ideas.

Megan Leys

Megan Leys is an artist and educator in Marquette. She is inspired by the beauty of the Upper Peninsula, boreal forests, and the transience of the seasons. Her go-to medium is watercolor paint, which has just enough unpredictability to keep every sitting interesting.

Megan views art as an opportunity to observe and appreciate the natural world and she hopes that you will, too.

C. Beulah Budnick

I am Beulah, The One Woman show behind C Beulah B Jewelry. By offering the finest of work honoring nature, using recycled materials and respecting our planet I am pushing myself to fulfill my words with action as I continually work towards sustainable business practices.

I live deep in the forests of Upper Michigan and travel to hidden corners of the world where I find continual inspiration for my work.

Chloe Fortune

Chloe is primarily a landscape artist who loves to share the beauty of the Upper Peninsula with others through her paintings. Her unique paintings are inspired by her experiences with nature when she moved to the UP years ago. She loves combining nature with color theory to evoke the sentimental feelings that we carry from place to place.

Chloe enjoys connecting with others through her love of both art and nature. She has a background in a variety of art mediums and loves learning new things.

The members of The Gallery Marquette are pleased to present the Judy Sarosik Rotating Gallery.
