Justina Faunt -An exhibit of paintings

She says that oil painting has become her escape from this world which can be so harsh. She immerses herself into every painting and puts her heart and soul into every brushstroke. She wishes is to share that part of herself with the world so they too can have an escape and be transported into another place and time when they look at the paintings.
Justina Faunt is a young artist who specializes in oil painting. She has been painting for about 14 years and is based in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Her specialty is impasto painting with thick heavy textures, with hints of pointillism showing through on some pieces as well.
