Local oil painter John French will be our guest artist in the Sarosik Rotation Gallery within The Gallery, from June 2nd through July 6th.
There will be a demo and Artist Reception on Friday, June 27th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. during Marquette’s Artweek!
A viewing of Michigan artist John French’s oil paintings reveals a great deal about the artist’s passions; getting out and about, and painting the places he goes.
John’s use of bold color and strong composition convey the intense beauty the artist sees in the world around him. His paintings invite the viewer to ponder a more peaceful and quiet part of the world, away from the bustle and worry of everyday life.
